Mortgage registered in State Land Service has the same effect as of Land Register

Law office LEADELL Fogels, Vītols & Paipa successfully represented the interest of the client in a court dispute regarding enforcement of mortgage rights. The court accepted the opinion of attorneys of law office that mortgage entered in State Land Service but is not registered in Land Register, has the same effect as mortgage registered in Land Register. Thereby mortgage creditor whose mortgage rights are registered in State Land Service has rights granted by The Civil Code on enforcement of mortgage rights.
Court decision makes essential law interpretation practice which must be taken into account in order to secure the contract rights.
